George Wallace Struble (1886-1971) was born in Oregon. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1908 before moving to Pennsylvania to work for Bethlehem Steel, where he eventually became a Vice President.  In addition to his 1920s travel films, his collection contained several commercial shorts and boxing films. His collection was donated by his daughter Margaret Struble Pazzetti.

The majority of the collection has been transferred to video and is available for viewing on Archive.org
