A very composite and various program, it will focus on a varied selection of themes and materials. Amateur/experimental: the relation and uncertain boundaries between amateur and experimental productions. Film as a ruin: damaged and decayed films as remediated archival objects, able to acquire the new status of “ready-made” thanks to a creative or artistic gesture. Back to the film material: the archival and authorial choice of printing and screening new 16mm copies – from the original film materials through a digital intermediate version – for public performance in cinema, museums and art galleries.
