Thread Ceremony

Film shot in the 1930’s, India, depicting a young Brahmin man experiencing a ‘Thread Ceremony’ – their ‘coming of age’ rite. No idea if this tradition continues in India today. Film shot by my Grandfather who was stationed in India in the 1930s.
