Fantastic news! For years, one of the great gaps in amateur film scholarship has been the lack of a digital (and before that, microfilm) version of Movie Makers, the magazine of the Amateur Cinema League. Without any fanfare, the entire run from 1926 to 1953 has been digitized by the Internet Archive from the collections of the Library of Congress.
