Kip-making-bubbles-770x433The Center for Asian American Media’s groundbreaking initiative Memories to Light: Asian American Home Movies harnesses the power of collective memory and media and brings to life the experiences of Asian American communities from across the United States, spanning six decades (1920s through the 1980s) of the 20th Century. This project collects, digitizes and shares home movies to construct a social, cultural, and political representation of Asian America directly from its community.
